Hi! My name is Chris. I am a middle school music teacher. I teach Choir and Music Appreciation. I am a life long learner and love all things technology! I received my master's degree from the University of Phoenix Online in Curriculum Technology. Thanks to that I try really hard to incorporate technology into my curriculum whenever and wherever possible.
I am also a single mom with a son (pictured left) who is a junior at Missouri State University. As you can see he is in the Marching Pride Band. He is majoring in Education, not Music but that's ok! In 2009, the band was the Honor Band in the Tournament of Roses Parade on Jan. 1. So if you happened to watch the parade, you probably saw him! I was in the audience watching with tears in my eyes! If you haven't noticed, I'm pretty proud of him!
My personal goal for this class is to help you learn as much as I can about how to teach your students in such a way that they will enjoy learning the material in a way that stimulates them. My wish is to make a difference in students' lives and maybe even be an inspiration for future generations of teachers!
I'm not sure I have a favorite game but I play a lot of Facebook games when I am bored!!
